Optimistic and enthusiastic

Mr. Guillermo Martinez was a member of the research staff at the Keio-NUS Connective Ubiquitous Technology for Embodiments (CUTE) Center and started working with us in the month of January 2012. I have had the pleasure of working with him through my role as his senior colleague and mentor.

As a Research Fellow of the CUTE Center at the National University of Singapore, I can ensure that Mr. Guillermo Martinez has been working in our research center with excellent results. He has been able to manage all the projects assigned to him no matter the complexity. He has worked on electronic and schematic designs, sourced components for hardware implementations, acted as a liaison with suppliers, has done PCB design, as well as microcontroller programming and testing. As a result, he is very proficient in Electronics and is an excellent engineer.

Always optimistic and enthusiastic about learning, during his work, he has also shown excellent teamwork capabilities, collaborating with his colleagues to solve difficult research problems and leading the development of projects when required. Beyond his excellent resource and time management skills, thorough and thoughtful research capabilities, and attention to detail, he is above all a person of sound integrity. As a result of his positive contributions, he has left a very good impression on the people of our center.

In summary, he has exemplified, above and beyond, the qualities and curiosities that make him not only an excellent engineer but also a well-grounded and friendly person.

It is with great pleasure and no hesitation that I recommend Mr. Guillermo Martinez wholeheartedly for most any position involving technology, from hardware to software implementation, specifically in the scientific research fields that involve electronic hardware and firmware development.
